The Royal Academy of Dance Australia (RAD) is hosting its fifth international conference in Sydney on 19-21 January 2024, at the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. The conference, Dancing into the Future: Practices, Insights & Innovations, will feature experts in dance education, research and practice from around the world, and explore the latest insights and developments in dance education and training.

The conference brings together a global community of dance professionals to share ideas and innovations on best practice in dance pedagogy and learn from leading experts.

The conference provides a tremendous opportunity for dance professionals from around the world to collaborate, learn new skills, and share their knowledge and experience. We are excited to be bringing together the most innovative and influential members of the dance community for this important event.

Dancing into the Future will highlight a range of topics, including dance technique, creativity, artistic value, and physical and mental wellbeing, with a strong focus on cultural identity, diversity and equity in dance education. It will feature keynote speaker Dr. Susan Koff, and a further 31 presenters offering panel discussions, workshops and performances. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts in dance education and research, and network with peers from around the world. It is expected to attract attendees from all over Australia and around the world.
