Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland will return to Caulfield Racecourse this festive season, offering families a three-hour Christmas experience from Wednesday, November 25 through Christmas Eve on Thursday, December 24.
Designed for families with children aged 10 and under, the immersive, interactive walk-through experience brings together Christmas decorations, lights, entertainment, rides, activities and festive characters under The Grand Big Top.
Included with admission are a range of Christmas-themed experiences, including Rudolph’s Barnyard, where visitors can meet animatronic reindeer; a North Pole Post Office where children can write and send letters to Santa; and a Santa meet and greet with a free gift. Roving Christmas characters, including Snoopy, will also appear throughout the event.
Each session will include a 45-minute live show featuring Mrs. Claus and her elves, combining Christmas and circus elements. Visitors can also decorate their own Christmas shortbread at Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, make a wooden Christmas tree or snowman at the Elves Christmas Craft Village, and create a Christmas stocking while exploring Charlie Brown’s Christmas Forest.
The experience also features three Christmas- and candy-themed jumping castles, junior rides including a teacup ride, small carousel and mini train, and Snoopy’s Vesper Track, where visitors can ride Snoopy-themed vehicles around a track featuring Peanuts character moments and Christmas elements.
Additional experiences will be available for an extra cost, including Santa photos, a family photo with The Grinch in Grinch Land, carnival games and food and drinks.
Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland will take place at Caulfield Racecourse on Station Street, Caulfield, with entry via Gate 21.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, with further information available at Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland.
