Red Bull BC One All-Star B-Boy Lee will head to Australia to judge the Red Bull BC One Cypher Australia on Sunday 10 September at Metro Theatre in Sydney/Eora. Part of one of the most competitive breaking crews in the world, The Ruggeds, B-Boy Lee is a breaking phenomenon from the Netherlands taking the dance world by storm with his creativity, explosive moves and signature style.

Alongside B-Boy Lee, the other judges will include 2017 Red Bull BC One Australian Champion B-Boy Lowe and previous competitor and AUSBreaking Crew member, B-Girl Raygun.

Early bird tickets for the Red Bull BC One Cypher Australia have already sold out, so get in quick for general admission tickets here.

Red Bull BC One Cypher Australia will also feature an exclusive mid-show performance showcasing the history of local hip hop talent, presented in partnership with Champion.

Foundation MC’s Sereck (Def Wish Cast) and Trey (Tapastry), two artists with decades worth of contributions to Australian hip hop, will take to the stage. Joining them and representing the crop of future leaders are Sophiya and GOLD FANG, who are currently pushing new boundaries in the Australian hip hop scene.

Holding it down on the turntables all night will be veteran DJ Shan Frenzie, who will also be performing special routines from the worlds of hip hop, classic breaks, electro and beyond in breaks between the Battles.

Set to go head-to-head in the Red Bull BC One Cypher Australia, 12 B-Boys and six B-Girls are already decided to enter the competition as wildcards. A further four B-Boys and two B-Girls will be decided via Qualifying Cyphers on the day. Registrations for the Qualifying Cyphers are now open to Breakers everywhere. Secure your spot here.

As well as judging the competition, B-Boy Lee will be holding a workshop that is free to members of the breaking community – a chance to learn alongside one of the world’s fiercest breaking talents!

Dancers are judged on skills, technique, spontaneity, and creativity to determine who will be crowned Australia’s champion and go on to represent Australia in the world’s most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition, the Red Bull BC One World Final in Roland Garros in Paris, France, on 21 October.
