Honouring Lucette Aldous AC

A celebratory memorial service for Lucette Aldous AC, who passed away on 5 June, will be held 4pm, Thursday 1 July, at His Majesty’s Theatre. 

Aldous was an Australian dance icon and international prima ballerina with Ballet Rambert, Festival Ballet, The Royal Ballet and The Australian Ballet. She was also a teacher at The Australian Ballet School, VCA and senior lecturer at WAAPA for 25 years, as well as a guest teacher for various ballet companies worldwide. Aldous is a State Living Treasure. 

The public is invited to join Aldous’ daughter, Floeur Alder, and MC Russell Woolf to pay tribute to the inspiring lady who touched the hearts of the world as a dancer, teacher, mentor, friend and mother. The ceremony will run for approximately one hour, followed by drinks and nibbles.
