Norwegian Creative Studios, the in-house production company for Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises, is returning to Australia to host their 2016 Auditions. The auditions will be held in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney during the month of November.
Norwegian Cruise Line is known throughout the cruise line industry for producing the highest quality entertainment with talented cast members from around the world. They are currently running the Broadway shows Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, After Midnight, Million Dollar Quartet, Swing, For The Record and Vegas The Show.
In addition to its Broadway lineup, Norwegian Cruise Line’s original productions, which are amongst the most spectacular at sea, include Paradis, Elements, Lights, Camera, Music, Soul Rockin’ Nights and What The World Needs Now.
Norwegian Creative Studios has enjoyed great success in finding talent with their previous Australian Auditions Tour. Production Casting Director Kai Alan Carrier says, “Australia is currently producing the most well-rounded dancers we see in the industry. They have outstanding technique and are well versed in all styles of dance including tap, which is hard to find.”
Australia is also Norwegian Creative Studios’ sole target for casting leads for Priscilla Queen Of The Desert due to its deep pool of talented performers who give the show a degree of authenticity, humour and style. They are also seeking that same type of performer for the other Broadway shows in their fleet.

AUDITION DETAILS
DANCERS
We are seeking dancers with strong technique and experience in multiple dance styles. You will learn a variety of combinations and may be asked to tap. Females should have a lean/fit silhouette. Males should have a strong physique and be able to perform shirtless on stage when required. Gymnastics, aerial training, tumbling and partnering skills are a plus!
SINGER / DANCERS
Singer-Dancers should attend the Dance Call. Some dancers may be asked to sing the following day based on their dance audition performance.
VOCALISTS
Female Vocalists- Early 20’s-late 30’. Seeking attractive powerhouse vocalists, who can sing in the styles of contemporary pop/rock and musical theatre. Must have excellent performance skills and move extremely well. Ideal heights should be between 5’3-5’10. Lean and slim physique preferred. Casting all ethnicities.
Male Vocalists- Early 20’s-late 30’s. Seeking strong tenor/high bari-tenor vocalists who can sing in the styles of contemporary pop/rock and musical theater. Must have excellent performance skills and move extremely well. Ideal heights should be between 5’8-6’3. Lean and athletic build is preferred. Casting all ethnicities.
