The Moulin Rouge is visiting Australia, straight from Paris, to audition for dancers this July. The Moulin Rouge looks for tall, confident and well-trained, technical dancers for its iconic cabaret, which dates back to 1889.
The Moulin Rouge is popular the world over, for good reason. Dance Informa’s Directors recently visited the famous theatre and were given an exclusive back stage tour, as well as tickets for the 9pm show. They had never seen so many feathers! The Moulin Rouge actually owns a feather company that is housed in the theatre building to meet the demands of the costume designers. And there is an entire room dedicated to sequins! It’s a dancer’s dream!
The Moulin Rouge is a magical spectacular that’s full of surprises. The show is high energy and a sensory delight – entertaining from start to finish.
