One of Australia’s most accomplished young creative directors and choreographers, Mitchell Woodcock, is launching a new initiative aimed at supporting the next generation of performers through structured training, industry insight, and community connection.

Created through Co-Lab Quarters in partnership with New Ground Collective, The Quarters Club is a 12-week training and development program designed for performers seeking greater consistency, accountability, and direction in their artistic development.

Mitchell’s credits span Australian Idol, The Voice Australia, FIFA World Cup ceremonies, the T20 Cricket World Cup Opening Ceremony, TikTok Awards, ARIA Awards, Logie Awards, Netflix, Paramount+, major musical theatre productions, and creative collaborations with artists including Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Adam Lambert, Meghan Trainor and Guy Sebastian. A Helpmann Award winner, Woodcock has spent more than a decade working at the highest levels of the entertainment industry.

The Quarters Club has been developed in response to a growing demand from emerging performers for greater structure, connection, and support beyond the traditional drop-in class model.

“One of my dreams since launching Co-Lab has been creating a membership program that builds real connection and community beyond a drop-in class,” said Woodcock.

“As we celebrate two years at The Quarters, the timing feels right to level up the focus, support, and curation of our training. We’ve built a program that encourages performers to train with intention, stay accountable, and surround themselves with people who are genuinely invested in their growth.”

Presented alongside New Ground Collective, the program draws on the company’s philosophy of creating pathways between training environments and professional industry experiences. Through structured training, development sessions, industry exposure opportunities, and exclusive member experiences, participants will gain insight into the realities of building a sustainable career in the performing arts.

“Talent alone isn’t enough. The performers who progress are the ones who can commit, stay consistent, build relationships, and keep showing up. That’s what The Quarters Club is designed to support.”
