Vitality Dance Teacher Conference from Victorian Dance Festival (VDF) is introducing a brand-new series of professional development sessions for dance educators and studio owners. And the best news is… they’re completely free and accessible from the comfort of your own home!
Tap into experience, expert advice and excellence with Dance Teacher Refresh from Vitality at VDF, starting on the last Sunday of every month from 27 August. Pour a glass of wine or pop on the kettle and join your teaching community for the latest insights and tips from 3pm EST via Zoom.
First up on a list of refreshing special guests is Jane Grech who was part of the 2023 Vitality Teacher lineup at VDF but had to pull out last minute due to a family emergency. Grech will be talking Tweens + Teens: Being the teacher they need in 2023 and beyond.
With over 25 years in dance education, Grech has been a teacher, studio owner, business coach, and founder and author of the DanceStep program. Throughout her various roles, one thing has remained constant: Grech’s mission to educate, encourage and empower all she serves.
Grech is a regular speaker and thought leader on the topics of dance education, entrepreneurship, studio culture and her favourite topic of all, leadership. Grech’s days are filled supporting dance studio owners on their leadership journey, and partnering with more than 300 studios worldwide, to grow leaders and empower students through her DanceStep program. Grech will kick start the Dance Teacher Refresh Series on Sunday 27 August.
With feedback from teachers saying they’d love to hear more from Vitality Teacher Day presenters, Dance Teacher Refresh will also bring educators more insight and expertise from those who impressed on the day, as well as a host of new experts.
