ELLA Dance Retreat is a dance and well-being weekend with a difference for women. Pack your bags, grab some friends, or come by yourself and make new ones! Take a drive up to Hepburn Springs (via Daylesford) for an incredible women’s dance and development weekend.
The weekend will be full of ‘Define Yourself’ dance workshops open to anyone with a curiosity about dance. You don’t need to be a dancer to attend. Dance styles include salsa, flamenco, burlesque, jazz, bachata and more, led by Australian and international dance artists. There will also be practical coaching sessions with Australia’s best career and life coaches to help you create life-enhancing strategies. In addition, the retreat will include a gala dance showcase, dance parties, a Q&A panel and shopping. The event aims to be an indulgent weekend away for connection, self-development, making friends and having lots of fun.
Guest dance artists will include Cherie Morgan (flamenco), Almendra Navarrete (salsa), Chloe Loh (bachata), Justin Thomas (commercial), Jenna Ferguson (burlesque jazz), Tiffany De Caires (bachata) and Elysia Baker (salsa). The guest career and life coaches will be Alex Kingsmill and Will Centurion.
“I am so excited by the concept of ELLA, which is, in a nutshell, a culmination of dance, celebrating women, self-development and making friends,” says ELLA Director Elysia Baker. “Everyone is so busy these days, I wanted to create a unique opportunity for women to take some time out for themselves and reconnect with what’s important to them. You will be able to try different styles of dance, explore movement, self-expression and work on confidence through carefully led dance workshops by world dance stars. In addition to this, we have two amazing coaches coming along to empower you to create a focused path and goals for your life ahead. This is all while meeting and hearing stories from other wonderfully inspiring women over the duration of the weekend, plus maybe a sneaky spa trip or two! Set in the picturesque Spa Country of Hepburn Springs, Victoria there is no better place to revitalise and celebrate what makes you unique after what’s been such a difficult time for us all.”
