From the creator of Step Up and Save The Last Dance, the new 2017 dance movie Heartbeats shares the story of a feisty American hip-hop dancer who travels to India. Want to win your own copy of the film? See how you can enter to win a DVD below!
In the flick, Kelli Andrews, a college student played by Krystal Ellsworth (Fame, La La Land), dreams of becoming a professional dancer and is in the midst of figuring out the next step in her career when her family jets off to India for a weeklong wedding. To Kelli’s surprise, she ends up falling in love – both with a new style of dance and with the determined young man who introduces it to her (played by Amitash Pradhan).
Directed by Duane Adler, Heartbeats features original choreography by Emmy Award-winning Dancing With The Stars choreographer Tessandra Chavez. Her routines, which blend dance styles, are set to a new soundtrack produced by Jay Z’s Roc Nation. Co-financed by the USA Dance Network, Heartbeats is perfect for fans of Honey, Footloose and the Step Up franchise.
Eagle Entertainment owns the distribution rights to the 107-minute-long movie in Australia. It released it on DVD and digital platforms in February.
