Presenting 94 shows from 13 independent companies, The Mill announces a jam-packed Adelaide Fringe 2026 season, running February 19 – March 21, 2026. Featuring acts from local, interstate and international artists, the multi-arts organisation is proud to champion emerging and established performers.

This year, The Mill presents three shows developed through their Centre Stage Residencies, in partnership with Adelaide Fringe.

The CRAM Collective debut their first Adelaide Fringe show, Meteors, a theatre work exploring the lingering effects of grief on young people. Award winning storyteller Yoz Mensch presents My Grandpa Doesn’t Follow Me On Instagram a dynamic theatre work that explores identity, relationships and the strained intimacy of travel.

WAYIN:THI Collective debut their first Adelaide Fringe show, Fibres, as part of Gluttony’s program at Tandanya. Exploring story, culture and connection to Country, the show uses dance to bridge between fibre and story.

“We have been running our Centre Stage Residencies for over seven years in partnership with Adelaide Fringe and we are overjoyed working with such talented South Australian performing artists! This year’s artists Yoz Mensch and CRAM Collective are truly inspirational creators whose work I highly recommend seeing at this year’s Adelaide Fringe.

“I am thrilled for The Mill to be supporting WAYIN:THI Collective and the development of their new work Fibres. We have worked tirelessly with Caleena Sansbury and Kaine Sultan-Babij to launch this First Nations Collective and can’t wait to share the work of passionate artists exploring cultural themes at one of Australia’s leading festivals.

“We are deeply proud to be supporting a number of independent artists in their seasons and exhibitions at The Mill and we are proud that 100% of box office sales from performing arts works go to the artists!” says The Mill CEO/Artistic Director Katrina Lazaroff.

The Mill is also proud to present acts from two South Australian companies, welcoming back Yellowbrick Theatre’s acclaimed DUST and Phoebe Rodger’s debut cabaret show Phoebs, You’re A Lesbian.

Perth-based performer Glenn Wallis returns for another season of his razor-sharp dark comedy I Can Have A Dark Side Too.

This year’s lineup features a strong collection of acts from award-winning international companies.

From New Zealand, Hamish Annan’s Before We Begin joins Daniel Nodder’s mesmerizing physical theatre works Only Bones and Spoon Show. From the United Kingdom, Kathy Maniura brings The Cycling Man, following a middle-aged, lycra-clad man’s comedic breakdown and self-discovery. Switzerland’s Woman’s Move presents the razor-sharp dystopian solo The Sensemaker, a multi-award-winning Edinburgh Fringe hit that stages a tense battle between a woman and an unrelenting answering machine. From Canada, Amanda Makosso offers the heartfelt short documentary film Stories That Serve Us, tracing journeys through trails and communities to highlight voices, art, and lessons that inspire.

The Mill will also present two exhibitions during the Adelaide Fringe 2026 season, showcasing works by 2025 Photographer in Residence Carmen Alcedo and 2025 Visual Arts Studio Residency recipient Nadera Rasulova.

Showcasing the true multi-arts nature of The Mill, audiences will be able to explore the visual arts exhibitions before attending their shows.
