This summer, four trailblazing illusionists will unleash a mind-blowing spectacle: Now You See Me Live. The cutting-edge production will take up residence in the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall from 19 December 2025 – 3 January 2026. The production is based on Lionsgate’s global hit Now You See Me film franchise and is brought to life by the producers of the record-breaking phenomenon The Illusionists.
A world-class magic ensemble – inspired by the film’s characters, the “Four Horsemen” – will stun audiences in a showcase of unmatched synergy. Assembling from around the globe, they bring an unbelievable arsenal of solo skills, shocking twists and grand feats of illusion to this Australian premiere season.
The “Four Horsemen” redefine the art of staged magic with their groundbreaking performances, each bringing a unique flair to the craft. Adam Trent, hailing from the USA, captivates audiences by blending cutting-edge technology with masterful sleight of hand, seamlessly transitioning his skills from stage to screen and social media. France’s Enzo Weyne pushes boundaries as a visionary, crafting large-scale, technically innovative illusions that merge artistry with spectacle. Italy’s Andrew Basso, a daring showman, thrills with death-defying acts, holding the distinction as the first and youngest Italian to win the World Escape Championship. South Africa’s Gabriella Lester, the youngest and only female Horseman at just 22, brings sharp wit and extraordinary talent, having mastered Houdini’s upside-down straitjacket escape at the age of 14. Together, they reshape the landscape of modern magic.
Combined, the quartet have performed in thousands of shows in hundreds of cities – including sell-out residencies on Broadway and in Las Vegas – and have left spellbound audiences questioning the realms of possibility in their wake.
