In her interview, Sarah Boulter of Ev & Bow says, “Obviously, everyone comes from different backgrounds and are all at different standards, but we look for an open mind and ability to want to learn, hard work and work ethic. A good level of technique is important, but we have had dancers who have auditioned without much classical training, and then their willingness and drive were so evident that we could not turn them away. The drive, the individuality, the creativity, the hunger. That hunger is so important.”
