Who he is… After winning a Prix de Lausanne scholarship, Steven McRae joined The Royal Ballet School and then The Royal Ballet in 2004. Five years later, he became a principal.
Why we love him on Insta… He has a young family, so expect photos of his adorable toddler amongst incredible dance shots.

Who she is… Tonia Looker trained at The Australian Ballet School, the School of American Ballet in New York and Toronto’s National Ballet School. She’s now a dancer with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

Who she is… Ballarat-born Brooke Lockett is a coryphee in The Australian Ballet. She’s also appeared in Mao’s Last Dancer and on Dance Academy.
Why we love her on Insta… Besides being a ballerina and an actress, Lockett is a model and a keen photographer, and her Instagram feed is carefully curated with style and grace – and beautiful teacups!

Who she is… A Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School graduate, Lucy Green is now a dancer with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Last year, she was Guest Principal Artist for the Scottish Ballet in Cinderella.

Who she is… A soloist with The Australian Ballet, Benedicte Bemet trained all over the world, including Hong Kong, New York and Canada.
Why we love her on Insta… Her photos of life on tour give us an interesting glimpse into the life of a ballerina. Plus, she posts lots of beautiful flowers and her adorable dachshund, Lola!

Who he is… Sydney’s Joel Woellner is a dual prize winner of the Prix de Lausanne. He danced extensively with Houston Ballet before returning home to join the Queensland Ballet in 2015.
Why we love him on Insta… Woellner‘s feed is a feast of stunning dance snaps, and him having a lot of fun behind the scenes with his fellow company members!

Who he is… Perth-born Kevin Jackson is a principal with The Australian Ballet. He’s also a talented choreographer and is studying for his Graduate Diploma of Elite Dance Instruction with The Australian Ballet School.

Who she is… Australian-Indonesdian Juliet Burnett is a dancer, writer, activist and model. She left a stellar career at The Australian Ballet last year and is currently a freelance guest artist, working across many mediums and with many exciting collaborators.
Why we love her on Insta… Burnett has a unique artist’s eye, beautifully capturing the colour and variety of her world, from rehearsals, to travel, to family.

Who he is… Teenager Harrison Lee is one of the brightest rising stars in ballet, having won several major national and international ballet competitions.

Who she is… Another teen to watch, Talia Fidra is a talented up-and-coming dancer from Janine McGrath’s Classical Coaching Australia.
Why we love her on Insta… Fidra is a Capezio Athlete and uses her stunning technique and sweet smile to model the latest looks from Capezio. She’s an inspiration to many young dancers, with over 125,000 followers!
