Lilly Logan

Since starting dance lessons at three years old, Lilly has participated in numerous eisteddfods and performances, including performing at Disneyland and Universal Studios. She has also participated in the Hunter Dance Festival, State Dance Festival and Starstruck. She studies ballet, jazz and lyrical dance styles, and her future dream is to dance for a professional ballet company.

On being crowned a Face of Capezio:

“It was exciting and an amazing experience. When I found out I was a Face of Capezio model, I felt very honoured that I had been chosen to represent Capezio for 2017. I’m most excited to be an ambassador and a role model to other dancers and for others to see my passion for dance.”

On Capezio’s range:

“I love their variety of dancewear and that it is an international brand with ambassadors all over the world. My favourite product would be their footwear because it has so many different styles and is very comfortable to dance in.”

On her current plans and dreams for the future:

“I am continuing dance at Hunter School of the Performing Arts, at my dance school, The Dance Establishment, and I will be in regular eisteddfods and workshops. I am travelling to America in August to attend workshops and experience different choreographers and classes. My ultimate dance dream would be to live in New York and attend the Joffrey Ballet School.”

On her love for dancing:

“I love dancing because it gives me so many opportunities, and I am able to express myself.”

Remy Tidy

Remy studies classical, character, lyrical and contemporary. Her achievements include acceptance in the Australian Ballet School ITP program and winning numerous ballet championships, with scholarships at both competitions and intensives. Her biggest goal is to be a professional ballerina on the international stage.

On participating in the Face of Capezio search:

“It was an amazing experience being a part of Face of Capezio, as I got to meet lots of beautiful girls and had so much fun learning a catwalk.”

On being crowned a winner:

“I was super excited and honoured to be able to represent a fantastic dance brand. I was also super happy to be able to shoot with Damian Tierney, whom I’ve admired for years! He’s an amazing photographer.”

On Capezio:

“I’m super excited to receive amazing products by Capezio and to be able to photograph it and share with all my followers. My favourite Capezio product is the Hanami ballet shoe. It is super comfortable and moulds to your feet perfectly to make your feet look amazing! I love Capezio because all their products are so comfortable, yet elegant and unique.”

On her current plans and dreams for the future:

“I started my first year of full time ballet training at Tanya Pearson Academy to learn, grow and experience as much as possible. My ultimate dance dream is to be a soloist in an overseas classical company! A company in Europe would be such an amazing experience.”

On her love for dancing:

“I love dancing because I like to be challenged and to push myself to become better every day and to achieve my goal of being a professional ballerina.”

Ella Grace Cox

Every spare minute, Ella can be found practicing at home in the dance studio her dad built for her. In 2015, Ella made the top 10–12 years and under soloists at Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition in Sydney. Her achievements in 2016 include Sydney Eisteddfod – first place in the 10-years lyrical and contemporary sections and second in the 10-years jazz, and winner of the Showcase Newcastle regionals. Ella has been accepted into the Australian Ballet Interstate Training Program for 2017.

On participating in the Face of Capezio:

“It was so much fun doing the workshop at the DanceLife Unite nationals – striking different poses and performing dance moves to the music, and then to be selected in the final 10 juniors and having the opportunity to perform in the catwalk modelling show at the finals was fantastic. I had butterflies in my tummy, but they were excited and nervous feelings all rolled into one!”

On being a Face of Capezio:

“I’m excited because I have the opportunity to represent my favourite dancewear brand. From their amazing leotards, to their huge range of dance shoes, Capezio allows you to style yourself in so many different ways, from an elegant ballerina to a chic pop star. I will get to represent Capezio at one of my all-time favourite dance competitions, DanceLife Unite, which is very exciting for me.”

On her favourite Capezio products:

“At my photo shoot, I was lucky enough to be given a pair of Capezio Swag boots, and, oh my goodness, what can I say other than they are officially my all-time favourite pair of shoes I have ever owned. I wear them with everything and anything, and they always make a statement. I highly recommend you all get yourself a pair!”

On her current plans and future dreams:

“I just won the title of Junior National Champion in the Elite division for ballet at Showcase Nationals. I will be competing my ballet solos at future eisteddfods on pointe for the first time. I will be getting my brand new Capezio pointe shoes for this very exciting step forward in my life as a dancer. I have also been selected to travel to Los Angeles as part of team Australia for the World Championships of Performing Arts in June 2017. My best friend and duo partner, Will Dyson, is coming with me, too. It is going to be an amazing experience. I am also gaining experience as a teaching assistant for Tyson Almond. He is planning lots of workshops around Australia throughout 2017, which Will and I are lucky enough to go to and assist teach. I hope to one day be a part of the Australian Ballet. I also have a passion for choreographing and would love to do this in my future.”

On her love for dancing:

“Dancing allows me to express myself, as well as to enter lots of different worlds and tell stories to an audience. I love how you can dance and create so many different emotions and reactions in people. The feeling I get inside before I walk on to the stage to perform is the most wonderful feeling I have ever experienced. I hope I can continue to share my love and passion with the world for years to come.”

Isabella Chao

Isabella performed her very first troupe performance at Showcase National Dance Championships when she was just four years old. Her achievements include third place at the Showcase National Championships 2016 and the prestige Junior Dancer of the World Award – Dancer of the Year at the World Championships of Performing Arts, California.
